Full Bio

Harri Sundvik is Managing Director, Head of Nordic Corporate and Investment Banking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML). Harri has been with BACML in the City of London since January 2009, having worked as Head of Nordic Investment Banking for Merrill Lynch since 2006, and prior to that as Co-Head of Nordic Investment Banking at JPMorganChase and its predecessor banks since 1988. In his current role Harri works with leading Nordic corporations, Financial Institutions and Nordic Governments principally in corporate finance advisory capacity and to lead international equity and debt capital market transactions. Harri has a MBA degree from The City University Business School in London and a Master of Laws degree from Helsinki University Law School. He is Finnish and British national. Harri’s other interests include leadership development, mentoring and coaching. In that context Harri has assumed teaching roles in various Nordic and UK business schools. Harri has completed several full marathons and shifted his exercise focus to triathlons in recent years.  The combination of these interests has led to the establishment of the “Nordic Run” along the Embankment in London as the key building block to encourage the growing talent in the City. Harri is married to Heidi, who works as teacher in North London. Harri and Heidi are happy parents of three young men Henrik (21), Sebastian (18) and Daniel (17).
